First look
Kerzner is taking the site of the Courcheneige, the old hotel at the top of Courchevel's Jardin Alpin, and putting a One&Only on it. The Bellecôte piste runs past the door, so you ski out and ski back. In 1850 that is the whole game, and the addresses that have it have mostly been in the same hands for decades. This one came free because the Courcheneige closed.
Kerzner's announcement gives a year and a site and not much else. Rooms and suites, "an exceptionally limited collection" of private homes, a wellness floor with an indoor-outdoor wet circuit and thermal rooms, and restaurants and bars pitched at both slope-side lunch and dinner. No key count, no architect, no designer. That is normal four years out; it also means anyone quoting you a room number today is guessing.
Two things worth holding onto. It would be the group's first address in the Alps, and One&Only's resorts are almost all warm-weather places where the water is the point, so the ski operation is the part with no track record behind it. And 2030 is far enough away that the date is the least reliable fact on this page. We haven't stayed. Nobody has. There is no Fat Score here and there won't be until it opens and guests start reporting.
Not yet scored. We publish a Fat Score only once a hotel is open and real guests have stayed and written about it — this is a first look, not a verdict.

Want us to get you in when it opens?
Nothing to book yet — rates usually load a few months out. We're Sofie and Nicolas; tell us roughly what you're after and we'll come back the moment One&Only Courchevel is bookable, with rates, what the rooms are actually like, and whether we'd go in the first season.
You'll be dealing with the two of us the whole way through, which is why we only take on a handful of trips at a time — if we're full, we'll say so. We reply by email, usually within one working day. The hotel pays us, not you: your rate is the same as booking direct, and the perks come on top.
Before it opens
When does One&Only Courchevel open?
Kerzner announced it for 2030 when it unveiled the project in May 2025, and has not named a month. A five-year runway on an alpine build is long, so treat 2030 as the target rather than a date to book around.
Where exactly is it, and does it have ski-in/ski-out?
It replaces the Courcheneige hotel at the summit of the Jardin Alpin in Courchevel 1850, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Bellecôte slope. Room and residence counts have not been released.
