This is a jungle property outside Ubud where the staff learn your name by the second day and then actually use it. That sounds like a line every hotel claims, but the specifics here back it up: a maintenance team sawed a hole in a wardrobe base at the drop of a hat to retrieve a dropped ring, no fuss, no charge beyond the tip offered. A duty manager personally stepped in after a booking mix-up and turned it into the best part of someone's trip.
