Raffles
Raffles Courchevel 1850
Raffles' first Alpine resort, in the Jardin Alpin precinct of Courchevel 1850.
First look
Raffles is moving into the Alps for the first time with a 50-room resort in Courchevel 1850, set in the Jardin Alpin precinct of Les Trois Vallees. A May 2026 Accor announcement revised the timing to the 2028 winter season, so this is a longer wait than the brand's Red Sea and NEOM projects.
It is listed on the official Opening Soon page, which gives it more standing than a pure announcement. The build is small at 50 keys, which fits the chalet end of Courchevel rather than a big-box ski hotel. What we will be watching for is whether Raffles can hold its grand-hotel identity at that scale in a market already crowded with serious alpine luxury, and whether the 2028 date holds after one revision.
Not yet scored. We publish a Fat Score only once a hotel is open and real guests have stayed and written about it — this is a first look, not a verdict.

Want us to get you in when it opens?
Nothing to book yet — rates usually load a few months out. We're Sofie and Nicolas; tell us roughly what you're after and we'll come back the moment Raffles Courchevel 1850 is bookable, with rates, what the rooms are actually like, and whether we'd go in the first season.
You'll be dealing with the two of us the whole way through, which is why we only take on a handful of trips at a time — if we're full, we'll say so. We reply by email, usually within one working day. The hotel pays us, not you: your rate is the same as booking direct, and the perks come on top.
