First look

Amansanu was announced in April 2026 for the Texas Hill Country, near Austin, with no opening date yet attached. The plan calls for pavilions designed by Olson Kundig, branded ranch residences and a spa, plus what is billed as Aman’s first serviced stables. It reads as a ranch-format Aman rather than a beach or city one.

The stables detail is the one that stands out, and it signals an Aman built around the land rather than a view. With only an April 2026 announcement to go on, the timeline is the big unknown. What we will be watching for is a firm date and how the Olson Kundig pavilions sit in the Hill Country landscape. This is anticipation, not a verdict.
