None of that undoes what the place actually is: a small, quiet, almost residential hotel with its own private garden across the street, antique books in the rooms, and a kitchen that handled a child's allergy without being asked twice. People who've tried the grander Knightsbridge houses keep landing here anyway for the scale and the warmth. Book it for the townhouse feel and the people running it, not for the square footage.
