Six Senses
Six Senses Ossura Valley
An East Iceland valley project that would mark the brand's Iceland debut
First look
Six Senses Ossura Valley appears on the brand's 'and beyond' pipeline, set in a valley in East Iceland, with the official site rendering the name as Ossura Valley. There is no dedicated opening page and no firm date.
Iceland's remote landscapes are an obvious fit for the brand's off-grid instincts, but the practicalities of building and operating in East Iceland are not trivial. We have not visited, so this is anticipation, not a verdict, but what we will be watching for is whether the project holds its early form and when a real timeline emerges.
Not yet scored. We publish a Fat Score only once a hotel is open and real guests have stayed and written about it — this is a first look, not a verdict.
