Rosewood has been in the Middle East for years and never in Dubai. That changes in 2029, on the Peninsula Dubai waterfront: 195 rooms and eight private garden villas, with four restaurants and a beach club of its own. A separate tower next door holds 63 residences and five beachfront villas.
Peninsula Dubai is a new waterfront district rather than an established address, so the hotel arrives with its neighbourhood still going up around it — the same bet Rosewood has taken twice in Saudi Arabia. Bright Start owns it, H&H is delivering it, and Rosewood hasn’t named an architect or a designer.
Nothing about a 2029 opening is fixed, and Rosewood hasn’t put a month on it. What we’ll be watching is whether the private beach stays private once the rest of Peninsula Dubai is built, and whether this turns out to be a hotel with residences attached or the other way round.

Rosewood says 2029, with no month announced. It’s Rosewood’s first hotel in Dubai and its first branded residences there, on the Peninsula Dubai waterfront. Treat the year as the brand’s stated target rather than a fixed date.
