The tasting-menu restaurant in particular has drawn specific complaints about long waits and a kitchen that couldn't keep its own cutoff times straight. Service is the real variable here, not the building: some guests get a manager who reroutes a whole stay for the better, others get a checkout where nobody meets their eye.

Book it for the setting, the pool, and the spa, not for flawless five-star choreography, because that part still comes and goes. It's a strong pick for a couple or a family wanting quiet and genuine wellness away from the south of the island, less so if you need a hotel that never drops a ball at these prices. On the clifftop and the water, nothing else on this coast is close.
