Multiple independent reviewers from across the luxury spectrum place its service above Claridge's, the Dorchester, and the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, with specifics that hold up to scrutiny: butlers who remember thermostat preferences from previous stays, doormen who greet returning guests by name without prompting, a concierge who once lent a guest his own personal ties. The Bridgerton-themed afternoon tea, while generating strong foot traffic, draws mixed reviews on food execution — dry sandwiches and thematic under-delivery are recurring notes — and the property has no pool, which matters if you're benchmarking against The Berkeley or Corinthia.
