If a smooth arrival matters more to you than the room itself, price in the risk of a rocky check-in. Paying cash here only makes sense if the location and that breakfast matter more to you than a fully modern room; on points, with Hyatt Globalist status stacking free breakfast and reliable upgrades, it's a clear win. Travelers chasing old-world romance over Vendôme's clean-lined calm sometimes prefer Prince de Galles instead, but for anyone who wants to walk to the Louvre, the Opéra and half of Paris's best shopping without ever needing a cab, this is the one to book.
