The Kids Club runs the same way, with staff remembered by first name across repeat stays years apart. Where it slips is food consistency: The Rotisserie's buffet gets real praise, but the Palace side's breakfast and the pool bar draw specific complaints about value and quality, and one guest flagged general cleanliness slipping below the standard the price implies. None of that derails a stay, but it's worth knowing the kitchens aren't as uniformly excellent as the people carrying the trays.

Book this for the beach and the calm, especially with kids: the water slide, the Kids Club, and staff who'll refrigerate a child's medication without a fuss all point at families doing a proper week here, not a quick city stopover. If you want a skyline view over a private beach, you're at the wrong hotel; if you want Dubai to feel like a resort rather than a business trip, this is it.
